I have always been interested in technology. In my early twenties, I helped fortune 500 companies implement enterprise computing solutions using IBM's iSeries and eSeries servers. I developed my first website for my church at sixteen years old. And I wrote the curriculum used to teach my fellow highschoolers to develop websites by the time I was a senior.
I have a strong interest in web development as both a career and computers as a hobbie. I believe in writing semantic code, and constantly developing and improving my skill in web development.

I have a passion for social change. Coming from a nonprofit background I gained a first hand understanding of the need for capacity building among the third sector. And as philanthropy is ever changing, so is technology!
I believe that technology has redefined the way organizations perform outreach and achieve their goals. I learned this through years of not only being involved in the growth of faith-based nonprofits, but a degree in Public Relations has sure helped!
For years I worked as the Director of Marketing for The National Grant Center in Washington, DC, and then as a an information architect consultant, offering everything from logos and branding to online and offline page layout.
Through creative strategies, I have learned and practiced how to promote organizations to encourage social change.
I see my work as an expression of myself (no pun intended!) My values and beliefs extend to the passion and purpose I put into my profession, clients and projects.
I am currently working on a Master's in Nonprofit Management from Regis University in Denver, CO.
